“I just got back from Hawaii yesterday and it was really transformative.”
“How so?”
“Well, Hawaii is a very mysterious place. I’m from there, but it’s been a few years since I’ve been back and this time I was determined to uncover some of the mystery. When I got off the plane I heard the trees laughing and clapping…welcoming me. Then I went and had some fresh sashimi, and it was just an explosion of deliciousness in my mouth. I was in pure bliss. During the rest of my visit I had time to explore and listen and I felt a really fiery evil energy coming from the magma. Something very powerful. But, I also had an epiphany that that bliss and that evil was all part of the same thing. It’s one entity. It wasn’t an idealized purity. It was all encompassing and tangled and beautiful.”
