“The project I’m most excited about right now is The Imperfect Film Festival. It’s about turning film watchers into filmmakers. There’s one every month. You have 30 days to make a film and then we screen the films at The Center SF at the end of each month. We’re creating a community and a safe space for people to go out and prove to themselves that they can actually make a film even if they haven’t made one before. In that sense my goal is to shatter the conception that people have taken for granted that they are not creative.”
