Happy Sunday everyone. I’m so grateful for your responses the other day when I asked what this project meant to you. We’ve created a sacred space where we hold space for each other to share our truths. We support each other to greater healing and understanding by bringing things to light. Here is my truth today.
I’m back in Atlanta now. I’ve come home because my grandmother has Alzheimer’s and is transitioning into an assisted living facility. I’m here to help my family through this time. My grandfather died a couple years ago after a long battle with diabetes. He had both his legs amputated and the last years of his life were full of dialysis treatments and adjusting to life in a reduced capacity.
I can only imagine what it must be like for my mom dealing with the transition of both of her parents. I know this is a blessing though, I haven’t been home in over a year so this is helping me to re-engage with where I come from and to focus more inwardly. I feel like before I can evolve to the next level I have to do some clearing and healing. I think that’s a part of the journey we all have to face at some point.
Please send your love and blessings to my family. This is going to be quite a journey. And anyways, ‘Angels of Atlanta’ has a nice ring to it 😉
