“You’re beautiful. Can I take your picture?”

“Here? Okay.”

“Thanks, your features are so dark but you’re so bright. You’ve got your brown head dress, and your black hair, and your eyes…they almost seem black but there’s so much light coming from them.”

“Yeah, it freaks some people out. One girl was like, ‘I can’t see your pupils because your eyes are so dark.’ I don’t know what to say to that.”

“Well, I said they almost seem black, I can see that they’re brown.”

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome. So you live here in the city?”

“Yeah, I’ve been in Atlanta a long time and I love it here but I’ve got the itch to move. I was thinking LA because it’s the obvious thing to go out west. But I don’t know if that really resonates with my heart. Lately I’ve also been thinking about Costa Rica. I’ve been feeling like I want to move towards a more eco conscious, in harmony with nature lifestyle.”
