As I continued to walk through Freespace I saw this young woman up on a ladder painting a huge mural on the wall. I said, “This is so cool. How long have you been working on this?”

“Thanks, it’s been 280 hours so far.”

“You do a lot of murals and large scale stuff?”

“This is my first mural, I usually do smaller stuff. I like to be able to see the big picture. That way I have more control. With this, I just have been doing it as I go and then stepping back to take it all in.”
