“Those are beautiful clothes, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that style before. Did you make them?”

“Yeah, I did.”

“Do you design clothes?”

“Not professionally, I just try to make stuff I feel comfortable in. I’ve tried to wear clothes that everyone else wears, but I just feel awkward. If I was gonna take some corporate job where I had to dress like everyone else I would know right then that it wasn’t for me.”

“Totally. So where you from?”

“I just moved out here from Minnesota to do a volunteer program. I’m really excited to stay here for awhile because I’ve been traveling and I haven’t stayed any place, other than Minneapolis, for longer than five months.”

“We’ll there’s a lot to do here and I think you’re going to fit right in."
