“What brought you to San Francisco?”

“I came here from Oregon and California has always been this dream for everyone. It’s sunny, there’s so much to do. Oregon is awesome but it’s really rainy.”

“How has the reality matched up with the dream?”

“It’s pretty cool. Normally I want to move every six months but I’m staying put here. I was in New York before this…”

“That’s a big debate: New York vs San Francisco. Where do you weigh in?”

“It’s so much better here. The lifestyle is – there you work, you eat, you drink, that’s it. Here I get outside the city into nature, I take my dog to the beach. The only option in New York is central park and there are like a million people there.”

“I hear you. What do you like to do here?”

“I’m a big workout person and I just discovered Candlestick park, there’s a big workout facility there. It’s right on the water, there’s pull up bars and dip bars on the beach. I have a fitness blog called 12 minute athlete so I’ll go and film videos there. Interval training, body weight exercises, cross fit style but you don’t have to pay $200 to go to a gym. Also, Fort Funston is really cool. That place is dog heaven.”
