While walking through Viracocha this woman said, “I like your necklace.”

“Thanks, it’s amethyst wrapped in amethyst.”

“It’s cool. I have these.” she said as she showed me her crystal necklace and rings.

“And what do they mean to you?”

“Different things, some help me feel grounded, some help me feel powerful.”

“I like to meditate with mine, do you have anything you do with yours?”

“I like to rub my hands over them, and stick my fingers in the earth."

"Do you remember how you got connected with crystals in the first place?”

“Mmm, I think ever since I was a small child. I’ve always been fascinated by anything that’s shiny.”

“Where are you from?”

“Born and raised here.”

“How old are you?”

“I’m 27. Just turned 27 on the 3rd.”

“Happy belated birthday.”

“Thank you.”

“You just entered your Saturn return.”

“Ohh, I’ve heard about that. What is it?”

“Well every 27-29 years you have a Saturn return, where Saturn returns to the position it was in when you were born. This one is like going from Act One to Act two in your life. Up until this point everything you’ve done was new, but now you’ve experienced just about everything you’re going to, so since you have context for what your choices lead to you now can consciously choose how you want to experience life. And as you pass through this energetic threshold you can only take with what’s essential to the next part of your journey. Everything else you have to let go of, or else you can’t move forward. So if it’s unhealthy habits, or that bad relationship with that guy-”

“-or girl.”

“or girl, you’ve gotta let it go.”

“That sounds great. I totally feel that already. I’m leaving in on the 18th. I’m going to first to Australia, then to New Zealand, the the Philippines, before I end up in Thailand. So that’s like the introduction to chapter 2.”

“That’s a pretty good one. Are you going with anyone?”

“Yeah it is. No, I’m going by myself but I have family each place so I’ll still be grounded in that sense.”

“Are you an artist?”

“Yeah. I studied painting and sculpture. Visual art is kinda my base but I’m doing a lot of performance art right now. A lot of dance.”

“Very cool. I’m Garry by the way.”

“Dre.”

“Nice to meet you Dre. You’re super interesting, mind if I take your picture for my blog?”
