“What are you into in the city?”

“I’m into moving, I’m actually leaving the city in less than a month. I lost my housing. If you’re in San Francisco and you lose your housing and you’re not totally fucking loaded, or in tech, which is the same thing, then you’re fucked.”

“Where you moving to?”

“Chicago. My sister has a condo there that she offered to me half off so I’m gonna go back there and go to performance arts school.”

“So before you lost our apartment, what did you like to do?”

“I liked to do a lot of drugs, which is why I lost my house. But I’ve been sober for 7 months.”

“Congratulations.”

“Thank you very much. I’m a drag queen so I go to drag shows all the time. I used to be a theatrical costume designer, but I lost interest in that when I started doing drugs. I like vintage clothes…and I guess that’s about it.”

“No, what I’m really into is self-healing. I’m learning more about massage now. Did all that make the cut?”
