“You look so familiar.”
“You too. I can’t place it though.”
“What are you into?”
“I run a sustainable fashion company called Wildlife Works. It’s based in Mill Valley and we have a wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. We have an eco factory out there. This is an example of something we’d make.”
“Very cool.”
“It’s a beautiful, beautiful company. It’s a market based solution for wildlife conservation. We give rural communities jobs, and they get paid to save their wildlife in the forests. Our main source of income is carbon offsite credits, so we sell that. We also make clothing, which isn’t profitable now, but we’re really trying to set an example for the fashion industry that you can buy ethical.”
