“What brought you two to San Francisco?”

Her – “I’m visiting from Sydney, Australia.”

Him – “I just moved from Bali. My mom’s Dutch and my dad is from West Africa. I’m living in Vallejo, been here the past 3 months.”

Her – “Are people pretty open when you try and talk to them?”

“Yep, people usually are. If you’re nice to people, they’ll be nice to you. How long have you been together?”

Him – “Over a year-how long have we been together?”

Her – “A year and a bit. It’s always been long distance and we broke up and got back together. So I came here on Monday and it’s the first time we’ve seen each other in about 5 months. It’s nice.”

“Sounds tough. How do you manage the distance?”

Him – “It’s tough man, we’ve had our ups and our downs. The last time I saw her, I was expecting to see her a month later, but it ended up being  5 months. But we decided to fly her over and it’s going well.”

“Right on. What’s you favorite thing about him?”

Her – “His curiosity and cheekiness.”

“What about you?”

Him – “Besides the fact that she’s beautiful, she’s just very sincere and pure. Just very honest and loyal and it’s hard to find people like that. She’s a keeper.”
