“How long you been in the city?”

“I’ve been here since 1960. Moved out here with my mom from Mississippi. Actually, I was born here. This is a wonderful city. All you’ve gotta do is live somewhere else, you’ll come flying back. This city has a certain vibe to like nowhere else in the world. The people are not mean, they’re not really really friendly either, but they’re real people.”

“And the hustle is not that bad. People take it easy on the weekend because you’re gonna have to bust your butt on Monday. It’s like this, do what you can. And what you can’t, you won’t. Don’t sweat it, keep your mind in the place where it needs to be. Focused, but relaxed.”
