“You two are quite a pair!”

“Thank you, I’m an artist, I tap dance and play tablet, and my wife is a dancer.”

“What do you mean ‘play tablet’?

"I play an iPad or Samsung tablet like a bass guitar.”

“That’s cool. How’d you guys meet?”

“I street perform, and I was tap dancing one day in just my tap shoes and gym shorts, and she walked up and started doing some West African dance.”

“How’d you get into that?”

“I love dancing, it was the only place they didn’t throw me out of. I tried ballet, they said get outta here, I tried modern, they kicked me out, but when I went to learn West African dance, I could just do it.”

“Yeah, I saw her dancing and I was like…’Damn, you wanna go out for a cup of coffee!?!’ and the rest is history, we’ve been married 5 years."
