“I’m a musician, but lately I’ve been writing a lot. I’ve been holed away working on the first novel in a trilogy that takes places in a fantastical version of Africa. It’s about this African goddess/queen. I’ve been getting visions of this story…for pretty much my whole life. I would get pieces here and there that I’ve had in my songs. I didn’t realize that that was what they were about until now. Whatever I’ve connected to has been waiting to come through me for a long time.”
