“For some reason I’ve been the support system for a lot of women in times of grieving and crisis. My sister had her baby 2 months premature…he was 3 lbs! So I went to be with them to help. Some women have had mental breakdowns and needed someone. Maybe they feel safe because I don’t judge them. Maybe these women are actually more lucid and in touch with different realities. It’s like normally people are a closed flower, but these women open all their petals at once and the things they feel are overwhelming. I tell them, ‘I feel you girl, but you’ve got to protect your magic so you function in this day to day reality’.”
“Why do you think you’re drawn to these types of situations?”

“I think I was a medicine woman in another life. And my mom does a lot of philanthropic work. Maybe that’s why. Also, my greatest fear is losing someone I love, so I guess I like to be around that because I know that that’s an inevitability so I have to deal with it. I think we choose the lessons we’re hear to learn before we come here.”

“And what about your dad?”

“My dad is actually a photographer too.”
“So you come from philanthropy + art?”
“Yeah, my passion is painting. And I make custom clothes.”
