“I moved here from Israel to go to art school. I study 3D art. My first choice was Paris but after being there a year I realized this was actually a better place for me. Paris is a cold city. It makes you feel like you’ll never be enough. Here it’s more affordable and it’s easier to live. Berlin is actually the poorest city in Germany though, you may have noticed a lot of people asking for money. Because of that people are shut down and and not open to being talked to on the street. I want to do an experiment where I stop people to give them change and then try to talk to them and see how they react. Whether they ignore me because I’m black or actually try and understand what I’m trying to say.”
