“You two look so happy together. How long you been together?”
“5 years now.”
“Is there a story about how you got together?”
Right – “Yeah! She stalked me! We were going through law school and she stalked me!”
Left – “True story.”
Right – “Not scary stalking though. She had a friend who worked in career services so she knew my whole schedule, so she used to wait outside one of my classes where I would go to take smoke breaks. She’d be in gym clothes with her headphones on-”
Left – “-but there was no music playing ever, I would just sit there to make it look like I had something going on. Actually, I wasn’t even going to work out either. The trick about it was to make her think she wanted me.”
“You were deep in the game-.”
Left – “-that’s some skills, I didn’t even tell her about that until we had been dating for 2 years.”
“Sounds like she really wanted to be with you.”
Right – “Oh god yes, she would write me the most beautiful love letters, that’s really why I fell for her.”
