“How has raising him changed your perspective?”
Her – “In a lot of ways, just the enthusiasm at all the little things. We both do a lot of singing and dancing around the house that we did before we had him. He loves to do, so we do it and we all do it together.”
Him – “It’s noticing the fun little stuff. Like right here above us there are all these little birdhouses above us that I never would have noticed were it not for him. When he was like 1 and a half he would say ‘Birdhouses!!’ and we would just go and look at them. I had never road a cable car until he was told me we had to go.”
Her – “Yeah, everything is new to him. And if he hasn’t done it in a few months then it’s new again.
“What’s some of your favorite stuff to do with him?”
Her – “He’s really social and really energetic so we always get out of the house and go to playgrounds. Patricia’s Green is like our town square.”
Him – “He really loves trains so we take the F nowhere, just ride it and come back.”
