Right – “I’ve been here 2 years, I like to do a little bit of everything.”
“Do you have a best times/worst times from your two years here?”
Left – “Tenderloin.”
“What happened?”
Right – “Just the area makes me sad.”
Left – “Probably dating, city is smaller than you think, and you run into people that you don’t intend to at the worst possible moments.”
“And what about good experiences?”
Left – “Same, you run into old friends, and you reminisce and you remember what motivated you to get here.”
“What motivated you to get here?”
Left – “To grow up, live life, be happy.”
“How are those goals coming along?”
Left – “It’s up and down. Overall good. I’m happy where I’m at.”

Right – “When I was born I didn’t know anything about San Francisco, not even where it was located or what the weather was like. And ever since I was a little girl I wanted to live here and now it’s happened. I wouldn’t trade that for anything else.”
“Where’d you come from?”
Right – “I’m Ethiopian, lived in Italy, France, everywhere else. Now when people come visit me I show them around the city and I feel like I belong and I feel proud of that.”
