“I was born in India, grew up in Africa, went to college in Tennessee for architecture, and just moved here 2 months ago. I’ve been working a job here but it wasn’t for me so I just stopped working there yesterday. It’s hard because it’s so hard to make a living here but I didn’t move all the way out here to go back home so I’m gonna find another architecture job and it’s gonna be the right one this time…I’m pretty sure.”

“Architects have such strong insight into people’s lifestyles because we think about things most people don’t think about on a regular basis. We think about how to improve everyday experiences, it seems mundane but the way a public space is developed really influences the way people interact with each other. If the space is well designed, then there’s more interaction.”
