“There’s this thing that I have difficulty tapping into sometimes, but other times I have no problem tapping into. Sometimes I’m in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. If I’m going somewhere and I happen to run into a beautiful person, it’s like we go off on that path for a bit and that’s where I’m supposed to be at that time. It’s really exciting because it gives a sense of joy in the middle of everything. No matter what comes, it gives a sense of ‘Yes! This is where it’s at!’ No matter what. A couple of years ago I went through a very hard time. It gave me a certain light inside that can’t be extinguished. While I was going through it I asked myself, ‘Is this beauty?’ Those words came out of my mouth. And I found a molecule of beauty in that moment. No matter what, there’s this hope inside, this little flame, there’s always this thing in my heart that says ‘You can do this’.”

“It’s like a video game, no matter how big the boss at the end of the level is, you’re at the point meeting this opponent because you have what it takes to manage. There’s something somehow that you are able to overcome this opponent because the opponent’s there. The opponent wouldn’t exist if you weren’t able to overcome it.”
