“This is my great granddaughter Naisha. She’s the only child we have in our family. She’s my diamond. I walk her and 12-20 kids to school. Sometimes I give them a snack and sit on the porch and watch em. I tell em ‘we’re not wasting this time, we’re gonna sit here and do homework’. Most of the kids made the honor roll this year.”
