About three and a half years ago I saw Phoenix play at a little records store called Criminal Records Atlanta. I met the whole band and they signed a poster of their new album. Yesterday they were playing here in San Francisco and I ran into them and gave them a signed Souls of San Francisco book. What a difference a few years makes!!
