I wandered into D-Structure and was looking at the art when this young woman said, “Those are my drawings.”

“Pretty sweet. How long you been drawing?”

“Pretty much my whole life. It’s mostly kinda abstract like that. A lot of mouths, a lot of animals, a lot of people with animals.”

“Why are you drawn to animals?”

“Because they can’t talk and there’s this mystery about them. You have connections with them but it’s something you can really only feel. You can’t really verbalize it. I like having that feeling with people when I met them. A little mystery is always a good thing. It’s fun to peel of the layers.”
