Cathy Liu
“What’s your favorite thing about yourself?”
“That’s hard…I guess that I like to help people.”
“What are you passionate about?”
“I’m an artist, so I like to paint acrylics. Mostly abstract shapes and colors. I get my inspiration from nature and people.”
“Who’s your biggest influence?”
“You seem very at peace with yourself and your creative process…do you have any advice for people trying to connect with themselves in that way?”
“You have to be real. And clear in your intent.”
“What’s your intent in your work?”
“Just to make people feel calm and happy. I feel like my art is there to make people feel nice and think about something calm and beautiful.”
“Have there been any challenges for you in connecting to your creativity?”
“Having the time to do it. I have a 12 year old so-”
“How has being a mother changed your art?”
“It’s gotten a lot simpler.”
