Honey and Heart
Him – “We’ve lived in Costa Rica 40 years. I was living in a hippie commune in Oregon and I was making a trimaran sailboat. She showed up there and there we were. We finished the boat and sailed away.”
“What did it feel like when you first connected?”
Him – “Well our friends said they felt like the Earth shook. We were actually with different partners-”
Her – “-People assumed we were together right away before we were even sure about each other. We knew there was energy but we didn’t know what it was.”
Him – “So we finished the boat and sailed here. The area we lived in had no electricity, no phones, no bus, no tourism, no stores, no bridges, barely roads.”
Her – “Then we had 9 kids. We dove everyday and fed our kids fish…and coconuts. We ate leaves like the monkeys.”
Him – “Now we have 8 grandkids.”
“Do you have any wisdom about how to maintain a healthy partnership for so long?”
Her – “None. I don’t know…you just do it. Do you still like me?”
Him – “Yeah, I love you.”
Her – “Do you have a partner?”
“Yeah, I have someone I feel like is my life partner but I don’t know if our timing is right. I want to be with her but I don’t think she’s ready for all that yet. Then there’s another person who things just flow really nicely with right now.”
Her – “So you might have two partners?”
“Maybe, they’re both here and we’re all trying to be open and figure out what is actually the best thing for everybody. I figure the best way to handle it is just to be transparent and let things play out the way they’re going to.”
Her – “Good, try new stuff.”
Him – “We all know the world has to dramatically change so you might as well try to live your dream.”
“For sure, my name is Dijon by the way.”
Her – “I’m Honey.”
Him – “I’m Heart.”
“How do you two like to make the world a better place?”
Honey – “We design and manufacture electronics that hook solar and wind to the grid.”
Heart – “We do the exact thing I was telling you to do in your relationship, we dream a sustainable world with great detail. A beautiful, fantasy world. We looked at the real world and found the missing pieces, and then we designed, manufacture, and market those pieces. Check it out at http://www.transverter.com/”
